lyrics

Under a dark and balefull sky
I wake up and open my eyes
Finding myself amongst the trees
in this sheltering bed of dead leaves

Unknown feelings unworldly and deep
an all-encompassing sense of time and space
None of my feelings
are familiar to me anymore
like an out of body kind of rebirth

I can taste rain and ice like blood
on my thousand tongues of moss and stone
I can hear the thunders roaring
and winds are blowing
a scent of old sheets
from long forgotten tomes

A strange perception of cosmic concepts
unimaginable shapes
drenched in colors unknown
Glowing sphere crying perceptable wisdom
turning wheels in the face of endlessness

As a part of this dark and balefull sky
with burning tears of despair in my eyes
I'm looking down on this sea of trees
on my sheltering bed of dead leaves

...in grief
